MARRIAGE IS NO LONGER A TOP PRIORITY TODAY

      Nowadays, some people think that marriage is not as important like the previous era. It is because they know how hard to build a family when you have to give a commitment to your family. And yes, I totally agree with this statement. When you want to build a family, you must be ready to be more responsible and you must sacrifice your time for your family. Now marriage is no longer a top priority among youths due to changing values. So, youths right now try to avoid marriage and want to have fun in their life.

     First of all, the reason why youths now choose to not have marriage is that they prefer to find money first. Since all of us have our own dream life, youths now choose to save money first for them to build their dream life. When you are married, you can't afford this because you have so much payment to handle. For instance, monthly rent like house and car. This can interrupt your saving just because you have to share your money with your spouse. Unless you're from a rich family, you can ask your family to help you build your dream life. But when we became a parent, we can't depend on our family anymore, we have to work for it. So if you have money, you can be more enjoyable in your life. Probably youths now think that money is more important than marriage.

     Secondly, youths are more into entertainment these days. When you have a family, you have to spend your time with your spouse and your children. You need to be more responsible as a parent. You are no longer to have entertainment in your life because you need to focus on your marriage life. But since youths didn't want to marry, they going to find entertainment by joining an event just to have fun. For men, they like to entertain themselves just by playing games where they like to do a video of they playing games or just being a streamer. Since we get married, either you're a man or a woman, you can't do what you want in your life. You need to have permission from your spouse to do something you want. No wonders why youth right now are more like to have entertainment instead of having a family because they want to have fun and they're not ready to carry responsibility for a family.

    Last but not least, youth are taught to prioritise having a stable career first. A career is the most important these days because if you didn't have a career, how do you want to bear the expenses? youth right now is more about choosing a spouse that has a satisfactory career. Since this, youth choose to find a stable career first before their get married. So they can have a good life after marriage. Some people are willing to sacrifice their ambitions just because they want to have a family. For me, this is unfair because some people already have worked hard to catch their ambition. But since you have a family, they have to sacrifice all of their hard work because they need to focus on their family, especially on their children. Likely, we should have a stable career for our future.

    In a conclusion, no wonders that marriage is no longer a top priority among youths due to changing values. People find outs that there are so many factors of not having a marriage is better. But, I didn't say that marriage is a bad idea. Their decision is in their hands. So think wisely.
